We moved to St. George, Georgia a little over a year ago for a safer environment to raise our three young grandchildren.  We love the community, and the school is amazing.  However, it is with great disappointment that there is not a park or a playground for our kids to play and families to enjoy. The closest thing we have to a playground is a broken-down swing set and basketball court behind the Charlton County St. George Recreation Department on Cherokee Way off GA-94. Then there is the playground at St. George Elementary; however, due to past issues with rowdy teens they gated the area, and it is locked tight only to be used by students during recess. That leaves the closest true enjoyable park to be in Callahan, 20 mins away. The children of St. George deserve a safe, fun, and well-equipped playground that the families can enjoy and have a place to come together.

Please fund help to get funding and construction of a proper playground/park for St./park for St. George, GA!
