Good Evening Fellow Residents, Parents and Petition Supporters 

In March 2021 a Parliamentary Petition was presented to the NSW Parliament by Prue Car who was the Shadow Minister for Education to fast track the funding for Edmondson Park High School.

FAST TRACK THE FUNDING FOR A NEW HIGH SCHOOL AT EDMONDSON PARK 

"Fast track the funding for a new high school at Edmondson Park

To the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly, The Petition of the residents of New South Wales brings to the attention of the House the lack of a Public High School at Edmondson Park.

 Edmondson Park is a Master Planned Estate which has a K to 12 school planned as part of the Community master plan which was supposed to have been funded in the 2018 Government budget.

A High School is required due to the increasing population of children in and around Edmondson Park and that the existing High schools are at or over over capacity and in addition existing Primary Schools are over capacity plus two new primary schools are to be built.

The undersigned petitioners therefore ask the Legislative Assembly to urgently approve funding and fast track the construction of the master planned Public High School in Edmondson Park as previously promised.

PRUE CAR IS NOW THE MINISTER FOR EDUCATION and the LABOR PARTY IS NOW IN GOVERNMENT.

It's time to remind the Labor Party and Prue Car that the residents of Edmondson Park are still waiting for our High School.
