Good Morning Fellow Residents, Parents and Petition Supporters 

I was unaware that Fraser's Property had sent an email out to residents that the plans for the proposed Vertical High School had been declined by tge NSW Education Department.

Thank you to Adrian who posted a copy of the email which reads (in part)...

As you may be aware one of the modifications to our Ed Square master plane proposed the inclusion of a (vertical) secondary school.

We have  now received notification from School Infrastructure NSW that the proposal for a new secondary  school within the Ed Square master plan has not been accepted by the Department of Education and will not be proceeding.

We understand that the department has identified the preferred location for a new high school on the land adjacent to Edmondson Park public school on Buchan way.

THIS IS WELCOME NEWS for Residents and Parents of Edmondson Park who had supported the call for the construction of a new traditional High School next to the Primary School as originally planned.

Now we need to call on the new Minister for Education Prue Car to fast track the construction of new High School in Edmondson Park.

Please share the  Petition to your family, friends, neighbors and the School Community in Edmondson Park Primary School. Bardia Primary School and Denham Court Primary School.

I will send an email to the Minister for Education soon advising her of the Online Petition and asking for an update on where this project is up to.

The Community needs to come together in order to have this vital piece of Infrastructure constructed.
