INITIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 

The NSW Government  announced funding to deliver a new high school in Edmondson Park  as part of the NSW 2021/22 Budget.  The   high school will have fit-for-purpose learning spaces and core facilities to meet the enrolment needs of the South West Sydney growth area.  

The NSW Department of Education is completing a robust planning process which includes reviewing potential locations and delivery options for the new high school. The aim is to deliver a school that best fits the needs of the community, considers transport and accessibility, and delivers value for money and the best completion time and educational outcomes. 

Further updates on  the planning for a new high school in Edmondson Park will be released as the project progresses.
