In 2006 The Lost Room aired on Syfy as a 3 episode miniseries. It was very well received, but was not picked up, because the network head felt that a show whose idea was semi-similar was better. This series was created by Christopher Leone. In the past year he has done two Ask Me Anything threads on Reddit. He said that before it got cancelled there were tons more plans for The Lost Room.
