We need Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and also The Criterion Collection to release a 4K Blu-Ray+DVD box set of An American Tail for fans of Fievel and the other An American Tail characters such as Tanya, Tiger, Tony and Bridget.

This film franchise means a lot to me, and has inspired me to draw Fievel and the other An American Tail characters.

Plus, the 40th anniversary of An American Tail is on November 21, 2026. 40 years of An American Tail is one reason for a new re-release, and it would mean everything to fans of Universal Studios animated films.

An American Tail needs a better treatment. 

For example, a new 4K restoration, Special Features, and optional 5.1 and 2.0 English Tracks.

The 2.0 track is the original theatrical mix that was eventually released on VHS. This is the version fans prefer the most. And as a fan myself, let's make it happen.

The box set should also have commentary from the surviving filmmakers and cast members of An American Tail, as well as (in the bonus features section) a behind-the-scenes/the-making-of documentary of "An American Tail".
