Combating Campus Antisemitism at Emory University

The Issue

The undersigned members of the Emory University community are concerned about antisemitic activity at Emory and other campuses nationwide.

After Hamas terrorists entered Israel from Gaza and brutally murdered over 1300 and kidnapped over 200 Israelis, Emory students held a protest repeatedly chanting antisemitic slogans and phrases, leaving Jewish students feeling unsafe and unprotected. As concerned members of the Emory community, we admire President Fenves' immediate response strongly condemning the protesters.  We hereby request additional action and information on further steps towards accountability and healthy dialogue.
