Indian Hills is a predominately black neighborhood located in northeast Columbia Missouri. Unlike other neighborhoods Indian Hills basketball court hasn’t seen an upgrade in the last 40yrs. I’ve lived in Indian Hills most of my life so I felt obligated to bring awareness to the unfairness the Indian Hills community has endured for generations. 4 other residents and I recently started a youth basketball team consisting of players from the neighborhood and we’ve constantly had problems practicing at the local basketball court due to the badly damaged foundation, outdated rims, backboards and no lights. We ask that you support our petition and help our youth develop good character, integrity and achieve greatness.
