The developer and metro district industry lobby group MDEC is buying advertising on facebook to legalize metro district abuse. They are also promoting their legislative sponsor Sen. Zenzinger, who sponsored a very similar bill for them two years ago.
Two years ago we helped persuade the legislature to stop the abuse and REQUIRE mail or email notices of elections. Zenzinger and the industry opposed mail or email notices of elections. Fence post notice in the middle of a field and obscure legal notices in unknown papers was good enough for them.
We helped stop legalizing abuse two years ago. You helped make it happen then. We need you to help us do it again this year.
