Signatures Against Amendment 97
0 have signed. Let’s get to 10,000!
Amendment 97 will cost thousands of Coloradans their jobs if put on the ballot and passed in November. The people orchestrating and signing the petition are not qualified or trained individuals that are able to identify or develop safe practices for the oil and gas industry. Many of these people signing the petition don't even live in the counties where oil and gas exploration takes place. They have no right to determine what goes on the ballot that can shutdown an industry that safely supports thousands of families everday in Colorado. Changes like setbacks that can effect any industry in a negative manner must be evaluated by the state and agencies like the COGCC where facts and studies are used to determine the rules, not feelings from people who are not in the industry, with limited knowledge of oil and gas safety. Amendment 97 must be stopped.
