In the state of Colorado it is legal to own any animal that is considered domesticated without a license. This is an excellent law, and only needs to be altered a little. The two-toed Sloth is the ideal pet for most people, easy to take care of, very friendly, and little to no harm to children. As of right now, animals considered domesticated in Colorado include, but are not limited to, yaks, ostriches, cats, dogs, cows, pigs, and reindeer. If someone can own an ostrich some one should be able to own a sloth.
