Ever since Joe Sakic was hired as General Manager of the Avalanche, this team is been in a slow, gradual decline. From the terrible signings (Fedor Tyutin and Carl Soderberg, John Mitchell to name a few) to the lackluster draft picks, all the way up to leaving our best goalie available to the expansion draft, Calvin Pickard, Joe Sakic is turned a playoff contender into a near permanent bottom 5 team. After the 2016-17 season, the Avalanche finished with a record of 22-56-4, finishing in 30th place, with the worst record a team has had in over almost 20 years. 

With how this off-season has gone, I see no other option than to have Joe Sakic removed from his position, for the sake of the players, and fans. Sakic is so under qualified for his position, I'm baffled that people still do not think he is the reason for the Avalanche's failures over the past 3 years. 

Please, Colorado, make the right choice and remove Joe Sakic from his position, and maybe in our lifetime, can we see the Avalanche make the postseason, or better yet, win the Stanley Cup.
