Collier County J/V with Pelican Bay to add pickleball courts at Pelican Bay Community Park

The Issue

All Collier County residents, including Collier County Pelican Bay residents:

Please sign this petition to have 20 Pickleball Courts added to Pelican Bay Community Park. The entire Park

10 County Courts and 10 Pelican Bay Courts, with flexibility. The goal is to have no courts left unused.

State of the Art Sound Mitigation.

This will reduce the demand at Veterans Community Park by 20 courts.

The County will not have the funds for this update for many years. In turn Pelican Bay with a 30 year lease, will pay for the $5,000,000 update and The Park could open next season. All 20 courts will be maintained at a premier level.

When the County does have funds they can be applied to a Community Park for courts elsewhere.

The Collier County Parks Director recommends that this program be accepted and to proceed. There is a mutual benefit for all concerned.
