Wessex Water Constructing a Sewer Destroyed Sansway House Day Nursery
The Issue
A huge multi million pound company, building a 55 million pound Sewer have ruined a small family business. Wessex Water aren’t answerable to any authority. They will not admit that they caused the closure of our established Forest Nursery and Home Education Club. They have caused the owners and their family nineteen months of anxiety and heartbreak. The Nurseries trees are being hit by 50 tonne plant machines, they have visible cracks around the bases. The noise exceeds safe decibels. The fumes and dust are toxic. Wessex are satisfied they’ve offered a hire room & day trips and will consider compensation claims. Legal agents confirm we have no case. The toll of 19mths means the owners are close to giving up. Information such as safety reports, risk assessments from Murphy, noise monitoring & reviews of mitigation measures have been refused. A tree report has declared tree failure may happen and ongoing vehicles may be damaging the trees. We are advised by Wessex and HSE children are safe to play under them. The works will worsen over the next 5 weeks. We anticipate the loss of our trees. Wessex Water do the morally right thing and admit what you’ve caused instead of continuing to deny.
