We the undersigned, are withdrawing our custom from Coles Supermarkets, until Conventional Meat that has been properly stunned & killed by traditional methods, is provided - & Clearly Labelled.
Coles Supermarket has been deceptively selling us UNLABELLED Ritually Slaughtered meat, that arrives in Delivery Boxes clearly displaying the Halal Sign of different Halal Authorities eg. ICCV & Halal Australia, yet this knowledge is not passed on at the point of sale... the excuse being that the meat has become contaminated, so can no longer be halal! Coles are thus outrageously ignoring the fact that this halal meat comes from livestock that have been dedicated to a foreign idol/god & Ritually Slaughtered after a Reversible Stun that wears off within 15 seconds (after which time the animal is fully conscious again, but unable to move or vocalise its pain [Grandin]. If the throats of these livestock are not cut, they will Fully Recover within 30-90 seconds.) Meat workers in Halal Slaughterhouses have told us that animals are dying thrashing about in pain for several minutes. 
NOTE: Cattle take at least 6 minutes to die from the blood letting.
We have also seen that COLES are paying Halal Fees & Charges to SICHMA Halal Authority to Certify the Halal Meat, Poultry & Meat Products they sell.
The vast majority of Muslims do Not buy their Halal Meat in Supermarkets - they prefer to buy from Muslim Butchers Shops in their local community.
Furthermore we are concerned that the Halal Slaughterhouses are selling off HARAM meat cheap to Big Buyers from Supermarkets who are passing it onto us, as if it is conventional meat - which it is not. We are speaking about those carcasses that are Rejected at the Post Slaughter inspection by Muslim Inspectors as being "Unfit For Muslim Consumption" through a blemish, spillage or something more sinister. This meat cannot be called halal, despite being the product of a Ritual Slaughter. We, the vast majority of shoppers and consumers in Australia, do not want this substandard Haram or the Halal Meat, because we are Not Followers of Islam and therefore do not require Halal products at all.
So Coles we are asking for CHANGE... 
We, want Conventional Meat from livestock that have been properly stunned to the point of Permanent & Irreversible Unconsciousness and Insensitivity to pain. We want our Meat killed by Australian Slaughtermen who are Not muslims and dispatched by Australian Meat Workers who are not Muslims; because these Meat workers have been sidelined in recent years, as many of our Abattoirs have turned into Halal Slaughterhouses where ONLY Muslim Slaughtermen can be employed to provide Halal Meat, Halal Poultry & Halal Meat products.
Coles should understand that many Australians follow faiths that forbid their followers to eat halal meat, because it has been dedicated to another god, allah. Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs & others Asians are forbidden to eat halal meat by the dietary code of their religions. In addition many Australians are secularists and atheists, so do not follow any religion, so do not require meat or poultry with any religious association at all.

Our Question to Coles CEO, John Durkan, is:  Why are Coles catering for the 2%+ Muslims and ignoring the wishes of the 97%+ Non Muslims in Australia?
Why are Coles encouraging 7th Century Ritual Slaughter in the 21st Century?
Why are Coles not providing the Meat & Poultry that so many Customers want?
