Believe me, I love Jenna Ortega, Miley Cyrus, etc but casting should be taken to perfection especial if it's something so iconic as The Princess and the Frog. This movie is loved by many young African American girls and even some older ones ( other girls and boys as well) and me as a Disney lover, I think that the casting for this movie should be the one and only Coco Jones (Courtney Jones). I do know it was considered but hopefully signing this petition would make it a guaranteed. Trust to make sure I'm not hurting anyone's feelings all of the other amazing women who have the possibilities of playing Tiana are great and I'm sure they would be as good of an actress as they were in any other movie they have played in. 

If you look far enough into Coco Jones Instagram you should find a video of her singing the songs from Princess and the frog and she sounds absolutely amazing. She literally sounds just like her. Also, if you were to put the right dress on her she would look just like Tiana and that's amazing. Not only that but just like they did for The little mermaid live action, casting someone who sounds just like the actual Disney movie should be the most relevant.

I just need Disney to acknowledge how many young girls would be devastated by changing the skin tone of such an iconic movie character. If this petition doesn't make it in time I'm willing to say that they will not be that exited to see this Disney live action. I can't speak for everyone but discussing this topic with a group of friends and they all agree and the people singing the petition, those are the people I'm speaking for.
