Since the middle of 2022, Coca Cola Australia announced that Hard Hitting Lemon soft drink Lift will no longer be produced by the end of the year. In its replacement is Sprite Plus, which is an unsuitable replacement.

What makes it disappointing is that Lift has remained a staple for years being a great tasting lemon soft drink and better than Solo from Pepsi-Co, its unknown why but in the most recent years Coca Cola Australia decided to update the Lift formula making it worse, envitably declining the enjoyment of Lift, and paving the way for this inferior Sprite Plus heavily advertised with caffeine, and although there isn't a taste difference between the last Lift to be produced before discountation and the current Sprite plus, its devastating to see that original hard hitting lemon drink Lift to be axed for this corporate cringe worthy disgrace baring the name Sprite which it doesn't deserve or belong on. I'm not the only one disappointed by this discontinuation as many have also been upset by the discontinuation of Lift, and as such I believe it's fair to rise up again and abolish Sprite Plus similar to how New Coke was abolished for the original 40 years ago. 

If this does get enough signatures, it's required by Coca Cola Australia that Lift is to be reinstated with its original recipe not consisting of any sort of caffeine in it that makes the drink inferior. It's time to axe Sprite Minus, and bring some uplifting in the new year.
