Cloudflare ignore DMCA takedowns, pay rights holders a bit of money

The Issue

Now that Cloudflare has made it very clear that they aim to be the go to provider for all things bad and illegal on the internet, I, as a queer piracy enthusiast, think it's time to take it to the next logical step: Cloudflare needs to stop honoring/forwarding any and all DMCA takedowns and simply pay the rights holders a royalty. This has various benefits, such as:

  • We get easy access to pirated gay anime, yippee
  • Rights holders still get way too much money for being predatory
  • Cloudflare gets sued by the MPAA and RIAA, probably

Or yknow, alternatively Cloudflare could just #DropKiwifarms and reconsider their explicitly pro-hosting-nazi-content stance.
