The Issue

As a Persian woman, I have witnessed firsthand the atrocities committed by the IRGC against my people in Iran. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been responsible for killing, raping, and torturing thousands—45,000 of us have lost their lives due to their brutal actions. With deep sorrow, I implore the United States to take a firm stand against the ongoing human rights violations orchestrated by the Iranian government from its Embassy on American soil.

Closing the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the United States is not just a symbolic gesture, it is a necessary action to protect American safety and sovereign values. The Iranian government, through its diplomats and affiliates in the Embassy, poses a constant threat to American interests by declaring the United States a land of evil and openly expressing their desire to see it destroyed. By allowing their presence, we inadvertently offer them a platform to further their malicious intents.

Furthermore, evidence suggests that individuals associated with the IRGC and working at the Embassy are attempting to influence and infiltrate American systems to undermine democracy and stability. This is unacceptable and poses a significant threat to our nation’s security. It is imperative that these individuals be deported back to Iran, and that all diplomatic ties be severed through the closure of their representation.

Iran's aggressive statements and actions, such as supporting terrorist activities abroad and oppressing their own people, demonstrate a complete disregard for international norms and humanity. The international community has a responsibility to hold them accountable. Closing their Embassy here in America can be the first step in sending a powerful message that human rights violations and threats will not be tolerated or supported.

This is a call to protect the true essence of American freedom and security by ensuring that those who oppose it have no place within our borders. I urge every freedom-loving American to step forward and support this crucial initiative. Please sign this petition to demand the closure of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the deportation of all diplomats and affiliates associated with IRGC who reside and work within its context. Together, we can advocate for justice and take a stand against oppression.
