I’m starting this petition to close McKenzies walking track before another innocent life is taken. In 2019 a young boy slipped fell and lost his life on the popular walking track. Fast forward to 2023 and another innocent life is lost from a slip, and 50 meter fall. There are no adequate safety measures in place to prevent such accidents. This track is dangerous and should be closed to the public IMMEDIATELY!!  before anymore lives are needlessly lost! At the very least there needs to be fencing preventing “death”  from accidental slips, and VERY LARGE signage of the number of lives lost at that location. It’s a death trap and our friends/family’s lives should not be lost in vain. Rip Caiti. Rip to other young life lost too soon in 2019.
