The opening of Rock Park, a food trailer park on Adderley Road in Alum Rock, Birmingham, has brought chaos to our community. We, the residents, are facing a plethora of issues that are disrupting our daily lives, and we believe it's time for this site to be shut down immediately.

First and foremost, this establishment has been set up without the necessary planning permission. Its presence is not sanctioned by the local authorities, yet it has become an epicenter of antisocial behavior. Residents have reported an increase in noise levels, especially in the evenings and weekends when the food park is most active. The once peaceful neighborhood is now disturbed by loud music and rowdy visitors.

Additionally, the influx of vehicles due to Rock Park has led to severe parking disruption. Alum Rock Road, already a busy area, is now plagued with congestion, causing immense inconvenience to commuters and residents alike. The traffic chaos is not just a nuisance but also a safety concern for pedestrians.

Another pressing issue is the waste management, or rather the lack of it. Rubbish is being strewn around the area, and it’s attracting rats and mice, causing infestations. This is not only unsightly but poses health risks to everyone living here.

Furthermore, the local police have been stretched thin, having to deal with the increasing number of issues stemming from Rock Park. Their resources are being diverted to manage problems caused by the food park instead of focusing on other urgent community matters.

We, the community of Alum Rock, have had enough. We are appealing to the Birmingham City Council to take immediate action and close down Rock Park. This is a plea for the wellbeing and peace of our neighborhood.
