Close All Local Synthetic Cannabis Dispensaries

The Issue

I am a victim of synthetic cannabis. In my youth, its influence left deep marks that continue to affect me. The culture surrounding synthetic cannabis and the shops that openly sell it is toxic and harmful. These shops do not only trade in substances that damage our bodies, minds, and spirits, but the obscene and violent content they often couple with these substances, victimize our society further.

You can find more info here.

Sex shops glamourizing objectification, featuring items such as child-like body components, are a shocking example of this degradation, their audacity is unsettling. These products foster an ambiance of acceptance for terrible deeds, feeding into the issues such as human trafficking and addiction. The creators and propagators of such merchandise cloaked in the veil of 'Freedom of expression' or 'adventure' are exploiting human frailties and encouraging destructive behaviors.

There are examples of great harm.

Synthetic cannabis, deemed a health crisis in New Zealand with 25 recorded deaths in 2018, is available openly in these stores, jeopardizing both individual health and community safety. Moreover, Australia witnessed a 330% rise in synthetic cannabis usage between 2011 and 2013, showcasing the alarming growth and grasp of such substances on individuals and societies.

Normalizing new innovations can be dangerous, as discussed here.

Sexual objectification demeans our cognitive faculty and Multi-country Study on Women's Health and Domestic Violence against Women by WHO indicated that such objectifications are intimately linked with violence against women. This influence is amplified when associated with mind-altering drugs.

We must bring this matter before legislators and responsible authorities. We need to clamp down the availability of these damaging substances and end the propagation of objectifying merchandise. As a community, it is crucial that we challenge the uncensored distribution of materials that exploit human vulnerabilities and foster a safe and respectful environment for all.

Please sign this petition to shut down the local synthetic cannabis dispensaries, curbing the causes of numerous societal damages, and helping heal the wounds of the victims.
