Keep Fulham Palace Meadows Allotments public.Make the Allotments managers transparent and accountable.

The Issue

We are asking you to keep Fulham Palace Meadows Allotments in the hands of the Council.

1. Keep the Allotments public.

Fulham Palace Meadows Allotments were gifted by the Church Commissioners to the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham for the benefit of everyone who lives in the borough

The Allotments are an integral part of our community and local residents have the right to have a say about their future and management.

Generations of Hammersmith and Fulham residents have enjoyed the benefits of allotment gardening, protected by statutory policies and procedures while the Council is the landlord.

Hammersmith and Fulham Council is reviewing the way the Allotments are managed and one of the options could be to grant a lease to the Fulham Palace Meadows Allotments Association.

If a lease is granted, then absolute control of the Allotments will fall into the hands of the Association's committee members. This will effectively remove all the protection given by the Council.

2. Make the allotment managers transparent and accountable
