Let students from Stoke Newington School use the Hoxton Beach cafe at lunch

The Issue

As students we have unfairly been banned from using The Hoxton beach Cafe at lunch time for no given reason. The Hoxton Beach Cafe is very practical for Stoke Newington students, as it is directly opposite the school. It offers some of the healthiest lunches near to us, and at a very affordable price. Often students need to buy lunch quickly to take back to school so that they can work there, and by the time we've gone up to Church Street and back our lunch is practically over. The leisure centre cafe was very useful as it meant that we could buy a healthy lunch very quickly. We are not noisy students. We cause no harm, we don't bite and are always very polite and respectful to both the members of staff at the cafe and at reception. On average, each student or teacher spends around £4-5 there a day, and, assuming that around 40 people come every day from our school (including teachers), we must be giving the centre a considerable amount of money - potentially over £800 per week. Better UK seem to want to promote a 'healthy lifestyle', yet by restricting us from their cafe we have to resort to other options such as chips, toasties and sugary snacks - these are the only things available to us at a reasonable price along Church Street.
