I was sitting in my English class completing an assignment when a horror was thrust upon my eyes. On the page, I saw the word "cleverer". I was implored to research the validity of the word, and I discovered that it was, indeed, a word. I was horrified. How could the English geniuses of the world let this happen? Right then and there, I composed an email to Merriam Webster to change this monstrosity immediately. However, I never got anything back. That is why I am consulting the people to join me in my journey to get this disgusting word changed for good.
