Canceling observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday devalues not just the students and families of diverse ethnicities in our district, but every one of us. Not observing this national holiday undermines efforts to recognize the message of tolerance and acceptance King espoused. Our nation as a whole right now needs inclusion and unity. CCA right now needs inclusion and and unity.
