The story on Southall Waterside starts at the 14:05 point. BBC reporter Nicola Ford visited Featherstone Primary School to talk to the children and their headteacher Des Lee about the toxic smelling odour they have to learn and teach in every day. The stench means they have to close the classroom windows in the heatwave, and stop the children playing outside and getting regular exercise. Nicola also interviewed me in my home, and visited the Southall Waterside site, where she managed to film a short segment before the security guard asked her to move on. (The same security guard, who welcomed me on my visit last week, and was happy to chat with me about the stench then.)
