Baguio City is drowning in garbage. Residents, students, and business owners struggle with overflowing trash bins, irregular garbage collection, and waste piling up in public spaces like Burnham Park and Session Road. The growing tourist population worsens the issue, leaving behind plastic waste that clogs drainage systems and pollutes our streets.

If we don’t act now, Baguio’s beauty and environment will continue to suffer. The city’s reputation as the Summer Capital of the Philippines is at risk, and worsening waste problems could lead to health hazards, flooding, and irreversible damage to our surroundings. Without proper waste management, Baguio will no longer be the clean, green haven we all love.

Now is the time for action. We urge Mayor Benjamin Magalong, the

Baguio City Government, and the City Environment and Parks Management Office to improve garbage collection, enforce stricter waste segregation, and invest in sustainable waste solutions. Sign this petition and help save Baguio before it’s too late!
