Recently Asansol is facing lot of environmental problems. Floods which is a result of blockage of drains. Landfills by dumping of garbages. Later fire breaking out and resulting in release of toxic gases and smoke. No proper waste management system in market, localities, societies and in houses. No segregation of waste at ground level. These things will lead to a major disaster in the near future and as a result we'll see a steep increase in natural calamities which we have experienced in the past resulting in such huge loss for so many.

If we can have a proper waste management system like other cities example, Indore. We can generate lot of employment, make Asansol a beautiful green eco friendly city and even generate revenue for our AMC.
