Every single residential home on Wolf Lake boasts a private boat pier, making it easy for some to relish the beautiful lake while others are unfairly left on the shore.
Wolf Lake in Oxford, WI is a public lake, which means it should be accessible for everyone to enjoy. Wisconsin law requires all public lakes to have a public access point that is at least 60 feet wide, a provision designed to ensure the equitable use of these natural resources. Yet, despite these laws, the current public access to Wolf Lake is severely lacking because it has neither a boat pier nor a fishing pier. This not only limits opportunities for local residents and visitors to enjoy recreational activities like boating and fishing, but it also inhibits the fair utilization of public resources.
