On April 1st, 2011 I received a call from Lee Street Elementary where my son attended school at the time. The principal informed me that during a bathroom break another male student entered the restroom and pinned my son Willie to the urinal and attempted to put his hand up Willie's behind. When i arrived at the school to pick my son up the principal greeted me and said he was misinformed the student actually attempted to put his head up Willie's behind. I asked for an incident report but was told there was nothing for Willie but the other student was written up. The school called it "child exploration" . Recently Willie was diagnosed with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) all the counseling and support that Willie has gotten has been on me. The school system hasn't tried to help at all not when the incident first happened and not now. Please sign my petition not only for Willie but for the next child this may happen to so that they will not experience what my son is going through.
