Hi, my name is Rylan. Can you take a second to share my story & be my voice? DCF & my local Sheriff's department is failing miserably in seeking justice for my death.

I was just 11 years old the night my "father" sent me to my room as punishment for my bad grades. What happened on that fateful night leading up to my death remains a mystery. According to my father's original story, I was punished on January 10th & the authorities were not notified until January 12th, of my death. What kind of parent doesn't check on their child for 2 full days? As a parent, you didnt notice I was missing when it was time to eat? Or take a shower? Or maybe when I was just too quiet? What exactly were you doing that was so much more important than potentially saving my life? Why did I ingest your illegal narcotics? Did you give them to me by mistake? Or maybe you gave them to me on purpose? Maybe your girlfriend gave them to me to shut me up and get me out of the way? After all, she doesn't have her own child, why would she want to be burdened with yours? If I did infact ingest it of my own accord,  did I confuse it for Tylenol? Or did I take it on purpose because you left it out as an irresponsible adult and I just wanted to do what my dad was doing? Why aren't you accountable for your negligence? Did I cry out for you? Did you ignore me? Where were you when I needed you? Why did I have to die?

You see my friends,I reside with Jesus these days while my poor mommy carries my ashes around in a backpack wherever she goes. My daddy murdered me, whether intentionally or just by pure negligence, my blood is on his & his girlfriends hands.

I didn't get media coverage.  There was no community outrage. You may have never even heard my name.  So please,now that you know my name, SAY IT LOUD. share it. Encourage your friends to share it. Demand justice for me & a guarantee that my younger siblings aren't forced to suffer at the hands of this drug addicted,  heartless, coward.

Please sign this petition so that the proper authorities will reopen Rylan's case. His father and his father's girlfriend should be charged with, at minimum, child neglect.
