THIS PETITION WILL HELP TO CREATE A CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT 

DID YOU KNOW -based on Missouri Dept of Revenue's "Abandoned Vehicle" Manual page 2-3 says:

NOTE: A general agreement between a business/individual and a towing company to tow vehicles at their discretion is NOT acceptable, 

Which means any Apartment complex that says they have an agreement with a tow company is STRICTLY PROHIBITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My vehicle was illegally towed from my private apartment complex in Kansas City, MO - a blatant violation of my rights as a private citizen. To make matters worse, the owner of Assurance Tow/Downtown Towing, alongside his attorney, admitted their wrong-doing but refused to undo it. They have neither returned my vehicle nor allowed me to recover my ownership papers and work tools from it. This vehicle wasn't just for transport - it housed thousands of dollars worth of tools that I rely on for my livelihood. Now, I'm stranded without a way to work and provide for my family.

This isn't just about me - this is about everyone who has been wronged by Assurance Tow/Downtown Towing and their unethical practices. Unfortunately, my case isn't unique. Many innocent vehicle owners have reported similar unlawful towing incidents in Kansas City, each with disastrous financial consequences for them.

This is a violation of our rights and a serious breach of the duty and responsibility that each towing company has to uphold. Kansas City officials must hold Assurance Tow/Downtown Towing accountable for unlawful practices that hurt us - the hardworking people of Kansas City.

We demand the shut down of Assurance Tow/Downtown Towing. Furthermore, we demand the prosecution of the owner and his lawyer, who have shown blatant disregard for the law and the rights of vehicle owners. Join me in making Kansas City safer and more just by signing this petition.
