Eaton Blvd (NE 199TH) has seen rise to increased traffic for several years now. New housing developments have been approved without improving the safety of the road in Battle Ground and East of the city limits to 167th. This petition is requiring the immediate repainting of the passing lines to a solid yellow line from the railroad tracks in Battle Ground to 167th Street and changing to speed limit to 40 MPH from 50 MPH. 162 houses are being built to the South of this section of road, 42 have been built to the North in addition to the neighborhoods already established. A fatal accident occurred on July 27th in this section of road. How many more accidents need to happen before they make these necessary changes?
