This is not a suitable location for a wind farm. Three of them in close proximity to each other will have a huge impact on the local populations quality of life! The wind is there but there are also family homes too close to the location. This is not an area in the middle of nowhere,it is a highly populated area with family homes and schools very close to the proposed wind turbines.This area was zoned for these turbines over 20 years ago when the population was low here,this needs to be reviewed! This is being rushed through before the new legislation regarding wind turbines come through during a pandemic when people can't have meetings etc with regard to them. Four miles from a town is too close!!! These wind turbines can't go ahead,any other decision is only being made for money for the select few and no matter to the residents who will be in direct contact with these turbines and will suffer the detrimental effects from them!! These are going to have a huge effect on people's health and general well being. On a personal note, I have a child with autism who due to sensory issues would be hugely affected by the close proximity of these to our home due to the noise and flicker etc. And of course the wildlife etc in the area are going to suffer too!! If these ones go ahead, how many more will follow??? West Clare has enough of these now, it's time for them to be stopped!!
