The Bromhof/Boskruin community is suffering at the hand of deteriorated basic service delivery.

- Consistent electrical power outages have long threatened the livelihoods and security of residents and businesses.

- The strained electrical infrastructure and under-resourced electrical team constantly results in extended unscheduled power outages which have normalised excess of 10-20 hrs power outage durations.

- Lack of access to running water has long and frequently threatened and compromised the health of families.

-The evidence of the deterioration is a stones throw away into an influx of potholes and dangling electrical cables.

The ineffective/absent communication efforts are merely salt to this wound inflicted to the livelihood of this community.

This is a plea and demand to engage and communicate an actionable resolution which has to be measurable by improved conditions and delivery of these basic services and most importantly, this must be accompanied by serious accountability to the community and to policy frameworks which address failure to deliver.
