Hi I'm Ryan a local street skater, for years me and my friends and other people have been in search for a place to skate as we are always kicked off of property for skating. The reason i suggest for it to be built in Clemson avenue park is because many skaters of Charlotte, NC live minutes away from this park and could skate there. My other reason is that there is so much unused land in the park where all there is is trees and a grassy field the perfect spot for a skate park which is much needed because the only public skatepark in charlotte (Methodist home skatepark) was torn down.in every skaters mind charlotte is not a street skating friendly place but with enough people we could make it into a skate friendly place.
