Yabba Dabba Do It! Rename Pine Valley neighborhood streets after Flintstones characters.

Yabba Dabba Do It! Rename Pine Valley neighborhood streets after Flintstones characters.
The Issue
Pine Valley neighborhood in Wilmington was founded in 1956 and was annexed by the City of Wilmington in 1983. Several of the streets in the neighborhood are named after various Confederate generals and minor players in the Confederacy.

Given Wilmington's long history of racial strife, and the current racial situation in the United States, we feel that it is time to put these traitors to The United States to rest and rename these streets to something that is much less racially sensitive.
Why The Flintstones? Good question, for one thing The Flintstones pilot first aired in 1959, shortly after the founding on Pine Valley. The Flintstones ran from 1959-1966, a full 3 years longer than the Confederate States of America.
Wouldn't you rather tell people that you live on Barney Rubble Drive than Bedford Forrest Drive? Fred J. Flintstone Drive versus Robert E. Lee Drive?
Honestly though, it doesn't need to be The Flintstones. We just feel that it is long past time to change the names of these streets. We should not be honoring the racist traitors to their own country by having public streets, parks, monuments, etc. with their names or visages.
