Oppose Proposed Development at Big Mountain Road and East Lakeshore Drive in Whitefish
Please sign this petition urging the City of Whitefish to deny the Mountain Gateway Development to be located at the intersection of Big Mountain Road and East Lakeshore Drive.
We are soliciting your help and input on this matter as it will greatly impact our community’s quality of life. If after your review, you concur that Whitefish deserves more thoughtful, community enriching development we ask that you join us in expressing this to the City and by signing this petition.
UPDATE 10/7 - The Developers have submitted a separate and independent application requesting 3.96 acres on the southeast portion of the land be permanently changed from residential zoning to COMMERCIAL ZONING. This sets a very dangerous precedent for other land owners to follow suit. - Period where public input will be factored into the Planning Boards Conditions & Recommendations that they submit to City Council: Sept 30th - Oct 6th.
