Finally, the dial is moving in the campaign for safe homes for all Strathcona residents. Vancouver’s Mayor Kennedy, NDP MP Jenny Kwan and NDP MLA Melanie Mark have joined in writing to the federal government in urgent request of a 50-50 cost sharing program to treat addictions, support mental health and create new homes for Vancouver’s growing unhoused community. Our voices are being heard! Hopefully it’s the start of something big.
