Crosswalk is needed on the 97 near Buggy Stop Market and the homes across the street.
The Issue
I would like to know how to get a crosswalk put in on the 97, a busy highway with businesses and hotels, a bar, food and a market on both sides. A man was killed on this street last night. People always jaywalk from the bar to Buggy Stop. They also cross to stay at the HUB. Many patrons at SnoCap Diner jaywalk from the HUB. It is a very dark road. Right now businesses are open until 10pm as you know, but its so dark when I leave work. There are several homeless people who ride their bikes in and out of the street and sidewalk. I've always been afraid of hitting someone there. We need something. What can the citizens of Redmond do to help?
