By signing this petition, you consent to the following statement, and allow your name(s) to be entered by the Fairport Beach Neighbourhood Association (FBNA Incorporated 1949) and the Pickering West Shore Community Association (PWSCA) to urge the City of Pickering to action to protect our neighbourhoods. We are the Residents/Homeowners of Pickering.

Statement:

In reference to the City initiated Official Plan and Zoning By-Law Amendments: Infill and Replacement Housing in Established Neighbourhoods (OPA 20-006/P & A 11/20), the City is proposing to amend its Official Plan by adding new policies and revising existing policies and to amend Zoning By-laws 2511, 2520 and 3036, as amended, to implement Council endorsed recommendations of the Infill and Replacement Housing in Neighbourhoods Study (Infill Study). These amendments apply to lands within Established Neighbourhood Precincts identified in the Infill Study.

We support the recommendations of Council, save and accept; We request that the following items SHALL be included in any new policies or new By-laws:

- A private tree by-law, which would protect all trees over a specified diameter on private property.

- A by-law to regulate driveway widths within the front yard, and within the public right-of-way.
