Hi All, Just a reminder about the May 9th Transportation and Infrastructure Committee meeting @ 9:00 am. This is the next step on the Oak Street journey. This committee will recommend (or not) approval of the high level plan to be forwarded to the actual design team. The committee is made up of elected officials including Vice Mayor Pastor. City staff are presenting the neighborhood preferred alternative. I am told by the city project manager that the right mix of things are coming together and upper management are supportive of our innovative street scape. They hope to use this as a model complete street project. If this is the type of street you wish to see Phoenix build in the future I strongly suggest that the neighborhood show up in support of the improvement plans (and the staff presenting them). I know that the time is inconvenient but hopefully you have had enough of a heads up to make arrangements to attend. This is not the end of the journey by any means.
