City of Perth have recently changed parking regulations to prohibit tradesmen from loading and unloading in Perth City Loading Zones. This means that we have to find parking bays which are few and far between. This is going to make life very difficult and sometimes impossible for tradesmen carry out demolitions and installations in the Perth CBD office and high rise environments. These regulations were never publicly discussed with the relevant companies who work in the CBD on a regular basis. This is unfair treatment and discriminatory in nature and needs to be rectified so we can carry out our daily jobs without being marginalised by City of Perth. I ask you to get behind this petition to have these unfair regulations changed to allow us access to these Loading Zones.
