I want to honor Zexi Li as the Ottawa resident who had the fortitude to take the city protesters to court to restore relative peace and quiet to her fellow citizens. 

The incessant honking that disrupted the lives of many downtown Ottawa residents for more than a week fell mostly silent thanks largely to a young woman who launched a class-action lawsuit against the protesters who are occupying the capital.

The worst part was almost the brief gaps in between the honking, when they were riddled with anxiety in anticipation for the moment it would start up again, even with noise-cancelling earphones,

She wanted to make a difference for the community."

Write the mayor Jim Watson and ask for her to be honored as one of the 2021 Outstanding Citizens.  jim.watson@ottawa.ca
