There is a proposed new development for 1415 JFK Causeway, next to Channel 7, and the anchor for our planned Baywalk. It’s proposed use – a strip club. This is the third time that this “Gentleman’s Club” has been brought to the city for approval. It was rejected twice before by Planning & Zoning and by the City Commission.

NOW IT’S BACK!
The developer is asking for extensive code variance to allow this “adult” business to be constructed. The
same developer is bankrupt and has left unfinished projects littering Harbor Island and Treasure Island.
Instead of bringing the city up, this project will drag our city down, killing our plans to become a
destination for the whole family.
Not to mention, it’s sure to:
- Lower property values
- Increase in prostitution
- Increase illegal drug use & alcohol consumption outside the premises and surrounding areas

Sign this petition to let the commissioners know that this project brings no value to the city or its residents and that the city of North Bay Village needs to be known for something more than a strip club.
