We, the residents and businesses of Queensborough, petition the City of New Westminster to restart the operation of the Q2Q Ferry between Queensborough and the Quay when safely possible. The Queensborough area of New Westminster is a fast growing area of the City with a varied population of adults of all ages, young families and active retirees.  It has proven to be an invaluable service to our residents in their daily lives be it as a to-and-from-work or school  connection, shopping or entertainment. The service quickly became a go-to service for residents reducing traffic on the bridge - it is not principally a tourist attraction. I am sure that the New Westminster downtown businesses have felt the benefit of easy access from Queensborough for our residents in their bottom line.
