For two years, there has been an active online forum on a pornographic website strictly centered on the subject of trading and publically displaying local Laredo women’s nude photographs. Well, let me correct myself. The majority of pictures displayed on this website are of girls, ages 14-17, in other words minors. Now, most of us should already know that this is already starting to sound pretty serious, well let me outline it out for you.

                In this website they are able to request certain girls photographs by name, they are able to post photographs of any girls, underage or not, but of course without their explicit permission, and they are even going so far as to trade them as if they were cards. These anonymous figures even go so far as to request “8th graders”, teachers, and “MILFS” all of which are local citizens of our city. With this website we are dealing with a number of countless illegal offenses but the one seen most is unfortunately the encouragement and distribution of child pornography. Although some girls on there are now 18 or older that does not determine whether or not their photograph is considered child pornography, what determines this is the age they took the photograph which for most is under the age of 17. With this brief overview it is now important to know what can happen and what should happen to these anonymous figures.

               Any possession of child pornography is considered a felony but that is not where they decided to stop, instead they distributed these photographs which in turn is now a required sentence of 5 years in a state prison.

                Without your help and devotion to take this website down we continue to let these men take advantage of young Laredo girls, all of which are someone’s friends, classmates, teammates, co-workers, sisters, and daughters. With letting this website to continue running we will eventually see it only escalate into more serious actions. This must end now.
