The City of Homewood is renovating the bathrooms at Homewood Fire Station #2 and ordered a trailer with no shower and no A/C. The fire fighters hooked up the plumbing and electricity, they even had to rig some window units together. We can buy a rec center for $16M, we should be able to provide acceptable showering/bathroom accommodations for Homewood's Fire Fighters. The temporary shower they were provided is OUTSIDE! These guys save lives and risk their own everyday! Please sign and share this petition and contact the Mayor and Fire Chief and ask that they provide these heroes better accommodations, rather than the current conditions. The bathroom upgrade is supposed to last months and there are 18 fire fighters employed at this station.
