DISCLAIMER**- This petition is in no way, shape, or form to put down or downplay the hard work and dedication the fairboard puts in, not only during the fair but all year round! It is mearly a tool to show the disapproval of this year's carnival vendor in one place, and that many people want not only a change but to support locally.**

This year's fair vendor was not anything to be desired. Minimal rides that were old and rickety with no safety measures in place. The height requirements were posted but nothing to check how tall your child was. I witnessed many workers letting very inappropriate aged kids on rides. There was very limited food choices and what was available was not appetizing. I have not heard one person say anything good about this year's carnival in person nor on social media. I am starting this petition to not only let the fair board know how displeased the community is with the choice of carnival but also to shed light to our own hometown carnival. A & A Attractions is located right here in Fairbury and ran by our very own. They have reached out to the fairboard many times to allow them to set up for our fair and have been denied. They have more rides, games, and food options then the last 2 carnivals. Their carnival is well maintained and they have high safety standards. We are a community that loves to support each other and keep business local, so why are we not supporting our own local carnival and showmen? I am asking you to please sign this petition so we can make the fair great again!
